Proverbs 31:10-31

  I. TODAY, WE CELEBRATE THE RECOGNITION OF OUR GRADS

     “Her children arise…” Proverbs 31:28a

         Verse 28:NIV = “arise” =HEBREW = “kamu” =“to rise up”, 
         FROM ROOT TERM = “to take a stand, to accomplish, to fulfill”

        A. My first challenge for our grads today is “to fulfill”.
        B. My next challenge for our grads today is “to accomplish”.
        C. My last challenge for our grads today is “to take a stand”.

   II. TODAY, WE CELEBRATE THE RECOGNITION OF OUR MOMS

        “…and call her blessed…” Proverbs 31:28b

         Verse 28:NIV = “call her blessed” =HEBREW = “way-as-se-ru-ha”
         =“to bless”,FROM ROOT = “aw-shar” = “to be straight, level, or true”,
         “to go forward, to advance”

        A. My first challenge for our church today is “to bless” your mom
            by what you say.
        B. My last challenge for our church today is “to bless” your mom
            by how you live.
