We provide adult Bible study groups for all ages and life situations each Sunday morning @ 9:30. We offer groups for couples, men, women, singles and special need adults as we fulfill the purpose in Deut. 31 to reach people, teach God’s Word, and minister to people. See below for a list of classes which we offer or when on campus, visit a Welcome Center either in the Worship Center or Educational Building to receive help in finding a class that is right for you and your family.
“Assembly the people – men, women and children, and the aliens living in your towns – so they can listen and learn to fear the Lord your God and follow carefully all the words of this law. Their children, who do not know this law, must hear it and learn to fear the Lord your God as long as you live in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”
– Deuteronomy 31: 12-13
Why Attend Bible Study at First Baptist?

BASES FOR GROWTH
Bases for Growth
A systematic approach for Christian Growth Part of the
Growth Institute of First Baptist Church, Lenoir City
As part of our Growth Institute, the goal of Bases for Growth is to provide a systematic way to learn and practice the basic habits to assist Christians in their life long journey of growing in God and become a “Home Run” Christian. The Bases for Growth will center around the seven essentials of discipleship which are as follows: Salvation and Assurance, New Life in Christ, The Bible, Prayer, Fellowship, Witness and Service.
Bases for Growth consist of four bases of growth as listed below. At each growth base, a list of Growth Institute courses are listed to assist a person to learn and practice that aspect of your Christian life. As a person completes the course listed under that base, they will receive a certificate of completion and can move to the next base. Our goal is to move people around the bases where each person can become a “home run” Christian!

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.”
– Psalm 1:2-3
Disciplers Bible Study is a non-denominational Bible study for women of our community. Our goal is to help women of all ages get God’s Word into their lives so that they become disciplers who disciple others. This Bible study will include daily individual study, small group discussion time and weekly large group lecture, much like a Bible Study Fellowship format. Our Bible study leader is a former, long time BSF leader and teacher. Disciplers Bible study meets on Tuesday’s from 9:30 to 11:30 am. For more information about this ministry, please contact Pam Drescher.

Has the “Thief” robbed you of the abundant life through the hurts, hang-ups, and habits that living in a fallen, sinful world brings? Jesus wants to heal us and bring life that we might have it more abundantly. However, we must choose to enter the door of His healing. Come join us on Wednesday nights for twelve weeks to study 10 Biblical choices we must make in, “Choosing to Heal our Lives”.
