Tyler and his wife, Jessica, have been a part of First Baptist since February 2008 when the church called him as Middle School Minister. In 2010, Tyler became the Student Minister for our middle school, high school, and college students. Tyler and Jessica were both blessed to grow up in Christian homes. They both received Christ at an early age and Tyler felt a call to ministry while in college. Tyler grew up in Lenoir City, graduating from Lenoir City High School. Jessica is originally from Indiana until she moved to Tennessee while in high school. They have two sons, Kaden and Gavin. Tyler got his Bachelor’s degree in Church Ministries and Administration from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College. He then obtained a M.Div. in Pastoral Studies from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. When Tyler is not serving the church, he enjoys working out, playing sports, and hanging out with family.
