At First Baptist Church Lenoir City we believe strongly that the Father is working throughout the world to bring all peoples to Himself, and that He calls His children to be actively involved in what He is doing. God works through His people.
Because of this, we are following an Acts 1:8 strategy of missions involvement: Jesus said, “you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem , and in all Judea and Samaria , and to the ends of the earth.” It is our conviction that we join the Lord in missions wherever we see Him at work. Therefore we have members actively engaged in missions in our community, in our region, in our nation, and in our world.
First Baptist Church Lenoir City is a church whose members are involved in missions – through praying, that we might build relationships with missionaries, through giving, that we might support the work of missionaries, and through going, that we might work along side of missionaries, that the Lord would be glorified. |
