Dr. C. E. "Jack" Jackson, III was called to be Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church of Lenoir City in March of 2001. Prior to coming to the Volunteer State, he served several churches in his home state of Georgia.

Pastor Jack received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he double majored in Religion and Philosophy. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey with a concentration in Church History. He received his Doctor of Ministry degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, with an emphasis in Evangelism and Church Growth.

He has also served in numerous denominational positions of leadership, including Associational, State Convention, and Southern Baptist Convention agencies.

Pastor Jack and his wife, Vickie, have three children: Andie, Caleb, and Micah.
